This is an invitation to slow down, to gather around a living story that began deep beneath the rainforest canopy and has travelled through countless hands, hearts and generations to reach ours.

PROGRAMME

FROM POD TO CUP TO RHYTHM

CACAO WORKSHOP
by Babu WayuNunu & Moss

More than a workshop, this is an immersive experience into the heart of Ceremonial-grade cacao where you will learn how to make your own cup of Criollo Cacao from the raw beans.

We’ll gently open a fresh cacao pod, taste the sweet fruit surrounding each bean, and discover the extraordinary journey that transforms a humble seed into the ceremonial drink loved around the world.

Along the way, we'll explore cacao's rich history, its Indigenous roots, its cultural significance and the careful process of fermentation, drying, peeling and grinding that reveals its incredible flavours and gifts. We'll taste Criollo cacao, celebrated for its delicate aroma, natural richness and complex flavour.

There will be stories, conversation, tasting, curiosity and moments of wonder as we reconnect with one of Earth's most treasured plants.

Whether this is your first encounter with ceremonial cacao or a familiar path you're returning to, you'll leave with a deeper appreciation of every cup you drink.

CACAO CEREMONY DANCE
with Human🎧Rhythms

As evening settles across the land, we’ll share another cup of ceremonial cacao, put on our wireless headphones and enter a musical journey unlike any other.

No choreography. No judgement. No right or wrong way to move.

Just music, breath, freedom and the permission to be exactly as you are.

Dance at your own rhythm, sway gently, close your eyes, laugh, rest or simply witness. Together we'll create a space where movement becomes medicine, music becomes connection and every heartbeat adds to the warmth that the Cacao has infused in our bodies.

Meet Babu
WayuNunu

Babu's work sits where cacao, music, story and belonging meet.

A former Army chef and survivor of a life-changing head injury, Babu has built a new path through connection and creativity and he has been creating Cacao Ceremonies for decades, hosting workshops and talks about the extraordinary health benefits of cacao.

In the 'Pod to Cup to Rhythm' workshops, he invites people to come as they are: to slow down, listen, move freely and remember the simple beauty of sharing something real together.
